Jammu 10 :- Yakamoz Foundation, a Section 8 NGO registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, organized a comprehensive awareness programme on environmental conservation and anti-drug measures. The event took place at the school premises and saw enthusiastic participation from over 200 students, as well as the teaching staff.
The Chief Guest for the event was Advocate Mohd. Naseer, the Chief Management Director of the Yakamoz Foundation. In his address, he emphasized the importance of sustainable development; the vulnerability of teenagers and adolescents to drug abuse; and the collective responsibility to make India healthier and achieve the mission of Green India.
The programme featured a variety of events including an awareness lecture, a debate competition, a poster-making contest, cleanliness drives, and a plantation drive. These activities were designed to engage the students and staff, fostering a deeper understanding of environmental issues and the dangers of drug abuse.
Adv. Mohd Naseer appreciated the role of Mehar Singh and Abdul Majid Dar in attaining the aims and objectives of Foundation.
The programme saw the participation of several Esteemed members of yakamoz Foundation including Adv Priyanka Sangra Managing Director yakamoz Foundation ,Mehar Singh National president, Gulzar Ahmed Vice president , Abdul Majid Dar National General Secretary ,Navtej National Media secretary of yakamoz Foundation.
The Yakamoz Foundation announced its commitment to organizing similar programmes in the future, with an ambitious plan to plant more than one lakh trees within the year. This initiative underscores their dedication to promoting environmental sustainability and public health.
The Principal of Koushal Public Higher Secondary School concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for their efforts in making the programme a success.
