Kargil :  Director College Affairs, University of Ladakh, Professor Tashi Ldawa who is currently on an official tour of various colleges across Kargil district today visited Govt. Model Degree College Zanskar.

Following his visits to Government Degree College Kargil, GDC Drass, and Sankoo Campus, the Director Ldawa has now embarked on a two-day visit to GMDC Zanskar.

Upon his arrival at GMDC Zanskar, Prof. Ldawa was warmly welcomed with a traditional khatak by Ishaq, Principal, GMDC Zanskar, along with the faculty members.

The visit commenced with in-depth discussions with the college staff, primarily focusing on the Institutional Development Plan of the college. The director also visited various construction projects within the college and closely inspected the progress of ongoing work.

He held discussions with the concerned AEE and JEs of the R&B Department Zanskar, addressing the various changes suggested by the Commissioner Secretary, Higher Education, UT Ladakh, during her previous visit to the college.

Prof. Ldawa further instructed the officer of R&B Department and the accompanying contractors to expedite the completion of these projects.

On the second day of his visit, Prof. Ldawa fully dedicated his time to the students of GMDC Zanskar. He conducted an academic orientation session, utilizing PowerPoint presentations and video visuals to effectively engage the students.

Additionally, he attentively listened to the issues, challenges, and demands raised by students, demonstrating his commitment to addressing their concerns and enhancing their academic experience.
