In a significant move, SSP Mohan Lal, a 1999 batch KPS officer, has tendered his resignation to the J&K Home Department, signaling his intent to join the electoral fray.
Sources reveal that Mohan Lal is currently in discussions with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), aiming to secure a nomination to contest from the SC reserved Akhnoor Assembly seat.
