Leh, Aug 04: In a progressive move to promote mental well-being and stress management, the District Police Leh organized an impactful awareness program on Vipassana meditation. The event, held at the District Police Lines in Choglamsar, aimed to equip officers and officials with effective tools for enhancing focus and fostering a harmonious work environment.
The program was conducted by the esteemed Ladakh Vipassana Centre from Saboo in Leh, under the expert guidance of senior Vipassana meditator, Apurva Lochan. Participants were introduced to the foundational principles and practices of Vipassana meditation, an ancient technique centered on self-awareness and inner peace.
