Leh 03 :- A charitable medical camp for screening of cervical cancer was organised by Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) in collaboration with Himalayan Women’s health project and Mahabodhi Hospital at Mahabodhi hospitals Saboo Dho,today.
Hon’ble CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson was chief guest on the occasion and was attended by more than 300 female patients.
Speaking on the occasion, H’CEC Gyalson appreciated Mahabodhi for its initiative to conduct such a medical camp which will ensure health care services to the women in the area. He also welcomed the Doctors and volunteers from Singapore headed by Dr. Quek Swee Chong.
While addressing the audience, Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena, Founder President and Chairman of MKCH, expressed his profound gratitude to the LAHDC and the Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, Tashi Gyalson for their exceptional support in organizing the medical camp. He highlighted that the successful execution of this event was made possible through his dedicated efforts and invaluable assistance. Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena conveyed his heartfelt appreciation for his commitment to the community’s well being.
