Leh 02 :- Hon’ble CEC/ Chairman Tashi Gyalson, LAHDC, Leh was called on by Padma Shri awardee and Founder/Race Director, Ladakh Marathon,Chewang Motup Goba to discuss the upcoming 11th edition of Ladakh Marathon 2024. The event is scheduled to take place from September 5-8, 2024.
During the meeting, Chewang Motup Goba briefed the CEC on the upcoming marathon events and highlighted the official launch date for this year’s marathon T-shirt, scheduled for August 8. He also presented a Ladakh Marathon memento to the H’CEC, as a gesture of appreciation for the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council’s continued support in organising the Ladakh Marathon to date.
H’CEC Gyalson commended Founder/Race Director, Chewang Motup Goba, for their significant contributions in organising and promoting Ladakh Marathon. He noted that the Ladakh Marathon has played a crucial role in boosting tourism in Ladakh by drawing participants from across the globe.
Highlighting the 50th anniversary of Ladakh Tourism this year, CEC further assured full support from the LAHDC, Leh to ensure the success of the Ladakh Marathon 2024.
