Leh:-  On the part of continuous endeavours by the Department of Finance, UT Ladakh to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial management across various departments.

The Finance Department of UT Ladakh, through its LIFMS section, organized a comprehensive hands-on training session on the newly upgraded Ladakh Integrated Financial Management System (LIFMS) today on July 31 at Leh.

This training was particularly given for the officers of BCAs from different departments of the Civil Secretariat. The prime objective of the training was to familiarize the participants with the latest technical modifications, changes and challenges in the LIFMS.

Several participants took part in this session. Nodal Officer, LIFMS, Jigmet Namgyal along with other staff members, conducted the training session and provided a detailed overview about the various modules of the system, ensuring the participants gained practical knowledge and could effectively utilize the upgraded LIFMS in their respective roles.

The training covered several key aspects of the upgraded system, including new functionalities, improved user interface, and enhanced reporting capabilities. Participants were engaged in interactive sessions, allowing them to address their queries and gain hands-on experience with the system.

The Department of Finance, UT Ladakh, remains committed to continuous improvement and capacity building, ensuring that its personnel are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to manage financial operations efficiently.

The upgraded LIFMS is expected to significantly streamline financial processes, enhance transparency, and improve overall financial governance across the region.
