Due to the active monsoon conditions, parts in Jammu region will continue to receive monsoon showers during the next 4 days, especially in the early morning hours.
There is a risk of flash floods due to intense showers/cloudbursts in a few vulnerable areas.
Risk of Shooting stones/landslides along Jammu-Srinagar National Highway & other roads will remain there.

01 August: Rain showers are possible in many areas of Kashmir. Weather activities will increase as the day progresses. Generally, many areas will receive one or two showers.
02 – 05 August: Intermittent rain showers are expected in most areas. However, it isn’t necessary that every place will receive showers on each day. Sunny breaks in between possible as well.
Note: There is a risk of intense showers/cloudbursts which may trigger flash floods in vulnerable areas.

Today, there is a possibility of rain showers along both routes to the Holy Cave. Risk of intense showers is there.
Moderate Risk of shooting stones/landslides on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway .
Temperatures at the Amarnath Holy Cave can peak around 22°C, Sheshnag 21°C, while at night, these temperatures can come down to 11°C.
At Chandanwari & Baltal, temperatures can peak around 27°C, while night temperatures may stay around 15 – 18°C.

of rain are expected during the next 4 days and may cause slight disruptions. Risk of intense thundershowers can’t be ruled out.
Risk of shooting stones/landslides will also remain there along Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
