Leh 25 :- Sub Divisional Magistrate, (SDM) Khaltse, Kaneez Fatima conducted a meeting regarding disaster management and mitigation preparedness at Sub-Division Khaltse on July 24.
SDM, Khaltse, Kaneez Fatima talked about the primary objective during a disaster scenario, which would be establishing road connectivity and the second objective would be to establish communication through cellular network or wireless.
During the meeting, she decided that one control room 24×7 and one committee divisional level setup at sub division and also directed to concern department to keep the Machineries/ equipments ready.
Additionally, she also setup three teams block level that would be dispatched during a disaster case.
Executive Engineer, PWD, Khaltse; Dr. Spalchen Gonbo from Community Health Center Khaltse; OC, 81 RCC, GREF, Naib Tehsildar, Khaltse, Skurbuchan, Wanla and Temisgam; Assistant Sub Inspector from police department Khaltse; Forest Block Officer Khaltse; JE, PHC; JE, PDD and representative from information department Khaltse were attended the meeting.
