Leh 25 :- A team of 7 trekkers from Mumbai were flagged off by Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Durbuk, Mohd Ismail Ganie (JKAS) from Dattaa (Phobrang) at 11:00 am today on July 24.
The trek is being organised by Samsora Expedition, Leh in collaboration with the villagers of Phobrang.
The trek is a first of its kind in the area in which trekkers will visit Dayoum Tso, Phangpochey and will be back to Urgo by August 2.
The trekkers along with the supporting team were apprised about the area through which the trek is organised as the area is ecologically fragile.
