Kargil, July 09: In a poignant tribute to the valor and sacrifices of soldiers who fought in the Kargil War, the Regiment of Artillery, Indian Army, marked the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas with the “Artillery Shaurya Gatha” event at Lhamochan View Point.
The ceremony, held with solemn reverence, saw the participation of esteemed war veterans, war heroes, and Veer Naris, honoring their contributions to the nation’s defense. Lt Gen Adosh Kumar, Director General of Artillery, presided over the event as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Maj Gen GS Cheema, MG Artillery, and the 5D Motorcycle Expedition Team, alongside officers and soldiers.
