Kargil, June 30: Deputy Commissioner and CEO of LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse chaired a meeting at his Office chamber to review preparation for Sampoornata Abhiyan, to be held from 4th July to 30th Sept. 2024 to achieve saturation in six identified key indicators in Aspiration Block Karsha of Zanskar Subdivision.
During the meeting held over the weekend, DC Kargil took a detailed assessment of the preparation of Sampoornata Abhiyan to be held in Zanskar block. He added that under the programme, six key indicators need to be achieved to make Karsha an aspiration block.
The DC Kargil took in detail statistics and figures from the Department of Health, Agriculture, Rural Development and ICDS.
DC Shrikant directed to achieve 100 percent saturation by September under the key indicators assigned to the concerned departments, which include registration of diabetes, TB and hypertension cases, supplementary nutrition program for pregnant women, revolving funds for SHGs and generation of Soil Health Card.
The DC directed a thorough campaign of the programme in collaboration with first line workers and civil society of Karsha including public representatives, community leaders and others.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the SDM Zanskar to make all preparations for the successful execution of the Sampoornata Abhiyan in Karsha Block.
CMO Kargil, Dr Kacho Liaqat Ali Khan; CDPO Kargil, Parveen Fatima; representatives of RDD, Agriculture and ABP Fellow Karsha Block attended the meeting besides SDM Zanskar Rumail Singh and BDO Karsha attended the meeting virtually.
