Kargil, June 30: Paras Hospital, in collaboration with Bakriya Health Care and Research Center Kargil and the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Kargil, successfully conducted a free Neurology and Neurosurgery medical camp at the Kargil District Hospital. The event, which took place on June 28, provided invaluable healthcare services to the residents of Kargil, screening nearly 400 patients at no cost.

The medical camp was a significant outreach initiative aimed at offering specialized medical care in neurology and neurosurgery to the people of Kargil. A dedicated team of experienced doctors and medical staff from Paras Hospital worked diligently to provide comprehensive medical consultations, diagnostic services, and surgical interventions.

The camp featured a Scientific Continuing Medical Education (CME) session, where experts from Paras Neurosciences, along with prominent clinicians from Kargil District, engaged in a knowledge-based interaction. This session aimed to foster professional development and knowledge sharing among medical professionals, enhancing the overall healthcare delivery in the region.

Dr. Anil Kumar, Chief Neurologist at Paras Hospital, expressed his satisfaction with the camp’s success. “The overwhelming response from the Kargil community underscores the pressing need for such specialized healthcare initiatives. We are delighted that many patients received expert consultations and treatment plans that will significantly improve their quality of life,” Dr. Kumar said.

Acknowledging the crucial role played in the success of the camp, Paras Hospital expressed gratitude to Bakriya Health Care and Research Center Kargil and the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Kargil for their invaluable support and collaboration. Their joint efforts have made a substantial impact on the health and well-being of Kargil’s residents.

Paras Hospital reaffirmed its commitment to extending healthcare services to underserved regions and expressed intentions to conduct more such camps in the future, continuing to bridge healthcare gaps and serve communities in need.
