Dolma Choskit, Incharge Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Leh, highlighted the machine’s potential to improve healthcare efficiency, particularly emphasizing its reliability during the challenging winter months. “Ensuring the machine’s functionality throughout the year, especially during Ladakh’s severe winters, is crucial for sustaining quality healthcare services,” she remarked during the event.

Amit Kumar, Deputy General Manager of ECGC Limited, underscored the collaborative effort’s significance in promoting advanced healthcare infrastructure across rural India. “This initiative underscores our commitment to supporting public health initiatives and underscores the government’s efforts to extend quality healthcare to remote areas,” he stated.

Prior to the inauguration, Kartikeya Tewari, Assistant Vice President of Manav Vikas Sanstha, provided a comprehensive overview of the Health ATM’s capabilities. The machine offers a wide array of screenings including measurements of height, weight, body temperature, blood glucose, haemoglobin levels, ECG, and blood pressure.
