JAMMU: A 45-year-old security guard was injured in an accidental fire from his service rifle in the Gandhi Nagar area of Jammu on Wednesday.
An official said that in an apparent case of accidental fire from the weapon of a security guard identified as Surjeet Singh, son of Prem Singh, who was working at Jagdambey Jewellers Gandhi Nagar, aged around 45 years, got an injury to the arm.
Police has taken cognizance of the matter and further investigations taken up.
