Leh: In a momentous achievement, the Ladakh Athletics Association proudly announces its participation in the 19th National Inter District Junior Athletics Meet (NIDJAM) to be held in Gujarat and the team reached for the participation.
This marks a significant milestone for Ladakh’s sporting community, as the association sends its second official team to compete on the national stage.
Led by Manager Mohd Hussain Rehnuma and guided by Coach Sajjad Hussain, the team comprises exceptional athletes ready to showcase their prowess. The participants include Asif Ali in Pentathlon, Mohd Ameen in Triathlon, Mohd Taqui in 600m, and Mohd Ali in Pentathlon.
The athletes express their gratitude to the President of the Ladakh Athletics Association for providing them with the opportunity to compete in this prestigious event. Special recognition goes to Coach Sajad Hussain, whose instrumental role in preparing the team for this intense competition is commendable.
“We are happy that we were given a chance to showcase our talent on a larger platform,” said one of the athletes. “If this support continues, we are confident that we will bring medals to Ladakh one day.”
