Kargil, Feb 07: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse today chaired a meeting to review the progress of works of the Tourism Department under Swadesh Darshan 2.0.(SD 2.0)The meeting was attended by Nodal officer ADC Kargil, Ghulam Mohiudin Wani and Assistant Director Tourism, Kargil, Aga Syed Toha.
DC Kargil was informed that the DPRs for many these projects under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 Scheme of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India are under preparation.
DC Kargil instructed AD Tourism to ensure completion of the same at earliest.
Discussions also held on progress on skill development component under SD 2.0, branding of tourism potential of the district on more comprehensive pattern.
The Ministry of Tourism has revamped the scheme and launched Swadesh Darshan 2.0 with a holistic mission to develop sustainable and responsible tourism destinations across the country.
