Leh, Jan 28: The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Leh, under the leadership of the Chief Executive Councillor in collaboration with the All Ladakh Hotel and Guest House Association (ALHGHA) and All Ladakh Tour Operators Association (ALTOA) has embarked on a ground-breaking initiative to promote Leh Ladakh as a premier travel destination at the Thai International Travel Fair in Bangkok, held from January 25th to 28th.
The event witnessed a promising start, with enthusiastic participation from various travel trade bodies of Ladakh representing the region at a vibrantly designed stall reflecting its culture and local architecture. This pioneering effort, the first of its kind, aims to spotlight the mesmerizing landscapes and unique cultural richness of Ladakh in the vibrant tourism market of Thailand.
As Ladakh’s tourism industry stands as a cornerstone of its economy, this initiative is poised to foster growth and open new horizons for the region. Both ALHGHA and ALTOA extended gratitude to the Hon’ble CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Leh and Santosh Sukhdeve, DC/CEO LAHDC Leh, for spearheading this commendable endeavor and creating opportunities for Ladakh to shine on the global tourism stage.
