Health and Wellness Centres to be rebranded as ‘Tsey-Ring Nadmed Tsonas’ in LehLeh, Jan 28: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson chaired an important meeting with the heads of socio-religious organisations of Leh to discuss the rebranding of the Health & Wellness Centre in Leh, Ladakh.
A comprehensive deliberation was held and suggestions were put forth before the Chair by the officials and the head of socio-religious organisations during the meeting.
Subsequently, a unanimous decision was reached to rebrand the Health & Wellness Centres in Leh with “Tsey-Ring Nadmed Tsonas” in Bhoti, an officially notified language of UT Ladakh in accordance with the provision provided under the guidelines of the order from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India.
The CEC affirmed that formal approval would be sought from the UT Administration Ladakh by LAHDC Leh for the rebranding of these centres in the Bhoti language, following the prescribed guidelines.
He further added that within a few days, all the Health and Wellness Centres in Leh district would be rebranded as “Tsey-Ring Nadmed Tsonas”.
The meeting was attended by Dy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk; Executive Councillor for Art & Culture, Stanzin Chosphel; DC/CEO LAHDC Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve; President LGA, Ven Tsering Wangdus; Vice President LBA, Tsering Dorjey Lakrook; President Anjuman Imamia, Ashraf Ali Barcha; and Vice President Anjuman Moin-Ul-Islam Leh, Nazir Ahmed Abdu; Chief Medical Officer Leh, Dr. Diskit Dolma; and Culture Officer, Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Leh, Dr. Thupstan Nurboo.
