Leh, Jan 27: Leh – the capital of Ladakh, known for its stunning scenic locales, Buddhist temples and pristine environment, which is situated in a remote location of Ladakh UT.

Ladakh Sustainers, Leh Sub Area, took the opportunity to organize a tour for the school children to provide them exposure and provide the young minds a window to interact with dignitaries of India. The students had the opportunity of interaction with GOC-in-C Western Command, Governor of Punjab, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Deputy Commissioner of UT Chandigarh, Vice Chancellor of Punjab University, Indian International Cricketer Ravi Bishnoi at Chandigarh and GOC Delhi Area, President AWWA at Delhi.

The students visited Sukhna Lake, Elante Mall, Rock Garden, Bird Park, Indian Air Force Heritage Centre, Chandigarh Press Club at Chandigarh, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Indian Leather House, Sadar Bazar at Agra and Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum, Akshardham Temple, Doordarshan Prasar Bharti Station, National School of Drama, Republic Day Parade, Ambience Mall at Delhi.

Enlightening and motivational eight days National Integration Tour organized by Indian Army was flagged in by the GOC Leh Sub Area today. Interacting with participants, he emphasised upon mutual learning from the rich and diverse culture of India. All participants shared their experiences of the inspirational and unforgettable trip.
