Leh, Jan 27: On the occasion of 75th Republic Day, an impressive colorful programme was organized at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche (KBR) Airport here.
S S Saini, Airport Director was the chief guest of the event. He unfurled the National Flag in the presence of Deputy Commandant/CASO Airport Security Leh. A team of CISF Contingent honored the National Flag with “Rashtriya Salute”. The function was witnessed by a large number of airport employees, general public and CISF personnel and applauded the function.
Earlier, the National Flag was unfurled at the unit line of Airport Security by Deputy Commandant/CASO, Arvind Sharma. He also inspected the CISF guard as well.
Meanwhile, the CISF Contingent also participated in UT Republic Day celebration at Polo Ground, Leh. CISF marching contingent participated in the UT Republic Day function for the first time.
