Kargil, Jan 26: The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Chiktan Kargil where SDM Chiktan, Abdul Gaffar Zargar unfurled the tricolour at Polo Ground, Shagaran Chiktan.Councillor Kacho Liyaqat Ali Khan, Sub-Division officers, officials, a huge gathering of villagers, students beside others were present. The march past was presented by students from different schools followed by engaging cultural programs.
SDM Zargar highlighted past achievements and outlined plans, emphasizing the importance of unity for Shakar Chiktan’s continued development.
He encouraged everyone to contribute towards the community’s progress. The celebration concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where participants were acknowledged for their outstanding contributions to society.
