Kargil, Jan 25: The UT Disaster Response Force (UTDRF) unit Kargil and Traffic Police Kargil headed by DySP Manzoor Ahmad conducted an awareness camp at District Institute of Education & Trainings (DIET) Kargil.
It was aimed at spreading awareness about disaster management, basic life saving techniques, CPR, first aid and how to save lives as first respondent during any kind of exigencies.
In addition to this a programme on Traffic awareness was also conducted as part of Road Safety Month-2024 in which the speakers delivered lectures on use of Seat belt, behavioural changes while driving and traffic congestion.
SI Mohd Ali and Incharge DIET Kargil Abdullah Shah also delivered lectures on Road Safety and Disaster Mitigation.
