Leh, Jan 25: The 14th National Voters Day under the theme, ‘Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure’, was celebrated in Khaltse sub-division in presence of SDM Khaltse, Suhail Ahmad today on January 25 at SDM Conference Hall, Khaltse.
SDM Khaltse, Suhail Ahmad, distributed Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) to the newly registered voters during the event.
On the occasion Incharge Tehsildar, Khaltse, Mohd Yousuf administered the Voters Pledge to the participants.
Similarly, Patawari P.H Lamayuru, Tsering Nurboo briefed about the India Constitution Day and importance of voting to the participants.
Executive Engineer, PWD Khaltse, Tashi Namgyal; Block Medical Officer Khaltse, Dr. Yangchan Dolma; Block Development Officer, Skurbuchan, Tsewang Nurboo; Block Veterinary Officer Khaltse, Dr. Siraj-ud-Din; Assistant Executive Engineer, I & FC Khaltse, Anwar Khan; Horticulture Development Officer Khaltse, Dr. Stanzin Angmo; BLO’s; officials from various department of sub division Khaltse and newly registered youths were present during the event.
