Leh, Jan 24: The full-dress rehearsal parade took place ahead of the 75th Republic Day at Pologround Leh today on January 24. Deputy Commissioner, Leh Santosh Sukhadeve unfurled the Indian flag and presided over the parade.
The rehearsal ceremony consisted of marching contingents from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Ladakh Police(men/Women), SPOs, Ex-Serviceman, National Cadet Corps (NCC) Boys/ Girls, NCC Kargil (Boys), Mutahari Public School, Kargil, Mahabodhi Residential School, Sindh Public School, Moravian Mission School Leh, Ladakh Public School, Ladakh Scout Regimental Center (LSRC) band and IRP 25 Battalion female band.
Furthermore, the Ladakh Police’s Dog Squad demonstrated a drill as part of the rehearsal.
Cultural performance was also presented from different schools from both Leh and Kargil districts and Culture Academy Jammu
