Leh, Jan 13: Deputy Commissioner, Leh Santosh Sukhadeve visited Ibex Colony, Community Hall, Leh today to address various public demands where he interacted with the residents of the area.
On this occasion, Nambardar Ibex Colony Leh, Sonam Rigzen appraised the DC of various issues of Ibex Colony, Leh such as construction of park, installation of digital library, invitation and contribution to National functions, separate MC ward, resolve land issues and construction of the monastery.
Besides, local people raised issues related to garbage from the RTO office, tap water connection, and problems in sewages.
DC Leh assured the installation of a Digital Library for students and the construction of a park on a fast-track basis.
Besides, he also assured that invitations for National Functions will be ensured and opportunities to contribute in the functions will be provided.
The community also requested the DC to provide training to women on weaving, tailoring and culture for the people of Ibex colony, Leh.
DC Leh assured for the completion of these demands as soon as possible and he also requested the local people to motivate the youth towards education and keep away from immoral activities like drugs.
