Leh, Jan 06: Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve today chaired a meeting to streamline preparations for the celebration of the 75th Republic Day 2024 scheduled for January 26.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Leh addressed a multitude of crucial aspects to ensure the success of the Republic Day festivities. Among the topics discussed were the heating system, event decoration, the utilization of eco-friendly materials, cultural participation, parade arrangements, seating logistics, sanitization protocols, media enclosure, and the issuance of invitation cards.
Expressing his concern for a sustainable and vibrant celebration, DC Leh sought valuable suggestions and feedback from the Heads of the Departments (HODs) present. He assured that any issues related to fund arrangements for the program would be promptly resolved, and all participants would be duly recognized with certificates and prizes.
DC Leh issued a directive to all departmental officers present, urging them to coordinate effectively to guarantee a smooth and successful Republic Day celebration.
