Kargil, Jan 05: The Association of Baltis, Himalaya Ladakh and Territories of Indus Kargil UT Ladakh, in conjunction with Anjume Immanuel Muntazir Kalsi Gate, proudly announced the successful culmination of a 10-day workshop focusing on the preservation of language through religious poetry, culminating in a historic Eid gathering at Kalsi Gate, Uttarakhand.
The workshop, held under the esteemed guidance of the renowned poet, scholar, and President of the Association of Baltis, Bashir Ahmad Wafa, witnessed an overwhelming response from individuals across various age groups, particularly showcasing the enthusiasm and dedication of the participating children.
Throughout the workshop, participants immersed themselves in learning and reciting Balti religious poetry, cultivating a deeper connection with their cultural heritage.
The culmination of this cultural endeavor marked a significant milestone as it brought forth an unprecedented Eid gathering, steeped in the traditions of Balti old-style celebrations.
During the event’s conclusion, Bashir Ahmad Wafa commended the efforts of the Local Association of Kalsi Gate, expressing immense satisfaction with the children’s exceptional performance.
He highlighted their rendition of three poems within a brief period, which captivated the audience, infusing the gathering with an undeniable charm and leaving everyone awe-inspired.
