Kargil, Jan 02: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today chaired a meeting to review the progress of expenditure under District Capex and to discuss the excess surrender of funds.
Executive Councilor Social Welfare, Aga Syed Mujataba, EC PHE and I&FC, Kacho Mohd Feroz, EC RD&PRD, Er. Punchok Tashi, EC Education, Zakir Husain, DC/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Srikant Suse, CPO Kargil, Abdul Hadi besides other concerned officers were present during the meeting.
The progress of ongoing projects under District Capex was comprehensively discussed, with a focus on both physical and financial advancements. Special attention was given to highlighting the notable achievements attained throughout the year.
The CEC urged all officers to maximize expenditure and emphasized the need to accelerate spending across various components of District Capex.
Considering the impending closure of the current financial year, CEC Dr Jaffer directed to ensure the complete utilization of 100 percent of the allocated funds.
He instructed the concerned that no fund surrender would be permitted at the year-end, and the responsible officers would be held personally accountable for any shortcomings.
