Kargil, Dec 27: As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a program was organized today at Thangdumbur and Thangdumbur-A Panchayats in Block Sankoo.
BDC Sankoo, Akhone Mehdi, BDO Sankoo/Day Nodal Officer, Kaneez Fatima, Sarpanches, Panches, officials from diverse departments, including Agriculture, RD&PRD, Health, Social Welfare, Food and Supplies, Handloom, Fisheries, Cooperative Societies, along with representatives from various other line departments, actively participated in the event.
During the event, the officers interacted and reached out to the citizens eligible under various welfare schemes, disseminating information and fostering awareness about the government-sponsored public-centric schemes.
Experts from different departments and institutions including agriculture, horticulture, ICDS, Health, Social Welfare, Handloom, etc. held interactive sessions with the locals wherein they were informed about the procedures to avail these welfare schemes.
At Thangdumbur, during the health camp 15 Ayushman Cards, 12 ABHA IDS were issued, 21 Aadhar Cards were updated and 10 individuals were seen in the OPD.
Under PM Kisan, two e-KYCs were done, 10 new forms were distributed, Status check was done 20 and one Khelo India certificate was also issued.
At Thangdumbur-A Panchayat health camp 15 individuals attended the OPD, five ABHA IDs and 10 Aadhar Cards were issued. 07 Aadhar Cards were updated. Under PM Kisan, two e-KYCs, status of 30 was conducted and 10 new forms were distributed.
During the program, officials of the Health Department briefed the general public about the goal of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and underlined its mission. They were also briefed about healthcare schemes. The camp witnessed huge participation of the people.
