Leh, Dec 27: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp held at halqa Panchayat Kharnakling of Leh Block, UT Ladakh under the chairmanship of chairperson Block Development Council, Leh Dr. Skalzang Dorjey on December 26.
Around 140+ people actively participated in the programme. Besides, stalls were installed by different departments to provide on-spot services showcasing their flagship schemes fostering awareness and engagement.
Sarpanch, Halqa Panchayat, Kharnakling started the program with a welcome speech followed by screening of the recorded message by the Hon’ble President of India Draupadi Murmu and Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Presentations by various departments such as Rural Development Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Food and Supply Department regarding the main objectives and implementing procedures of their respective available schemes/programmes were presented.
During the event, few beneficiaries under various schemes shared their success story, experience and motivated participants to actively take benefits of available schemes.
The event also featured a cultural performance by the villagers of Kharnakling, showcasing the rich heritage.
One of the highlights of the event was the comprehensive health screening camp of the health department and Aadhaar updation service by education department, where majority of attendees availed the benefit of the camp.
The event was successfully concluded with the vote of thanks, delivered by Nambardar of Kharnakling village.
