Kargil, Dec 26: As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a program was organized today at Badgam Panchayat of Kargil Block.BDO Kargil/Day Nodal Officer, Samina Khatoon, Sarpanch, Panches, officials from different departments, including Agriculture, RD&PRD, Health, Handloom, Social Welfare, ICDS, along with representatives from various other line departments, actively participated in the event.
During the event, the officers interacted and reached out to the citizens eligible under various welfare schemes, disseminating information and fostering awareness about the government-sponsored public-centric schemes.
Officials of Animal Husbandry, FCS&CS, Social Welfare, ICDS, Health, RD&PRD, Handloom, etc. conducted interactive sessions with the locals, informing them about the procedures to avail these welfare schemes.
During the event, 33 Ayushman Cards were generated. 48 people were screened for NCD and 11 people were screened for TB. 30 people were seen in the OPD.
At the event, 03 Aadhaar cards were bio updated and 02 new were generated.
