
In this regard, training programs were held at Panchayat Ghar Karamba, Panchayat Ghar Lotsum, Panchayat Ghar Goshan, Panchayat Ghar Thasgam, Panchayat Ghar Saliskote, Panchayat Ghar Nama Kusar, Panchayat Halqa Chiktan, and Panchayat Ghar Apati.
The programs at different venues were attended by BDOs, Apata Volunteers, PRI members, Numberdars, volunteers of religious organizations, NGOs, senior citizens, locals including women and others.
The training programs are aimed at gearing individuals to effectively respond to disasters and emergencies in the district.
During the training program, the Volunteers from Apada, UTDRF personnel, and experts conducted demonstrations, equipping participants with skills to handle diverse disaster situations.
The initiative aims to empower the community to navigate and overcome potential challenges, fostering a resilient and proactive approach to handling disaster-related situations.
Moreover, participants were informed about first aid treatment for injuries during untoward incidents. The program underscored the importance of immediate and informed action in dealing with emergencies.
