Leh, Dec 13: Ladakh Taekwondo Association Wednesday held a condolence meeting at its office to mourn the sad demise of Ace Player Basharat Hussain Aba.
“In a sombre turn of events, we regret to inform you of the passing of Basharat Hussain Aba, an esteemed Taekwondo player from Ladakh. His dedication to the sport and remarkable achievements has left an indelible mark on the Taekwondo community” reads the press release issued by the LTA.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and the entire Taekwondo fraternity. May his legacy continue to inspire and his spirit forever live on in the hearts of those who admired him, it added.
Ladakh Taekwondo Association convened a condolence meeting led by President Gulzar Hussain Munshi.
The meeting was attended by his Coach and Chief Technical Advisor LTA Nissar Hussain Balkhani, General Secretary LTA – Anayat Ali Shotopa, Treasurer – Mohd Ali Bhagi, State Awardee senior coaches and Zaheer Abass Khan and Mohd Ali, senior players and coaches Sadiq Ali and Murtaza Khan.
