Kargil, Dec 04: To ensure saturation of flagship schemes of the government, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was Monday organized at Tekat and Bartoo Panchayats, in Block Barsoo.
BDC Barsoo Hajira Banoo, BDO Barsoo/Day Nodal Officer, Asgar Ali, BMO Sankoo Ghulam Hussain, Agriculture Extension Officer, Sarpanch, Panches, officials from diverse departments, including Agriculture, RD&PRD, Health, Handloom, Horticulture, ICDS, PHE along with representatives from various other line departments, actively participated in the event.
At the event, the villagers were comprehensively briefed on an array of beneficiary-oriented schemes meticulously crafted to uplift and improve the quality of their lives.
One of the aspects of the event was the provision of direct beneficiary-oriented benefits to the villagers on the spot.
Besides others, the other departments also informed the people about beneficiary-oriented schemes. This included the distribution of various benefits and resources designed to uplift the community and improve their quality of life.
Experts from different departments and institutions including agriculture, horticulture, health, PHE, PDD, handloom etc. conducted interactive sessions with the locals wherein they were informed about the procedures to avail these welfare schemes.
During the program, officials of the Health Department briefed the general public about the goal of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and underlined its mission. They were also briefed about healthcare schemes. The camp witnessed huge participation of the people.
The nodal officer expressed gratitude to the participants for their enthusiastic involvement. The Viksit Bharat pledge was also taken by the officials and participants at the event.
