 A four-day workshop ‘Social, Emotional, and Ethical (SEE) Learning’ being held here, concluded today on a promising note.

The culminating day witnessed an inspirational session with the participation of Tsewang Dorjay DSP, District Jail, Leh. Their presence served as a beacon of motivation for the attendees. Notably, the DSP expressed interest in inviting the facilitators to conduct sessions for the inmates showcasing the potential impact of SEE Learning beyond traditional educational settings.

The opening day was graced by distinguished individuals including Chetan Dorjay, the esteemed Principal of DIET; Karan Rawat, DC, ITBP; Mr. Wangdus and Ms. Lobsang Wangmu, both exceptional Level 1 SEE Learning facilitators. Their presence alongside the Principal of Islamia Public School and Shey SEE Learning Model School alongside their respective teaching staff marked a collaborative effort towards embracing SEE Learning principles.

On day of the workshop, Mr. Nazir, Deputy Director, Ladakh Academy of Arts, Culture and Languages was invited to share his invaluable experiences and insights with the trainees. His participation added depth to the workshops, enriching the learning experience.

Overall, the workshops were a convergence of expertise, dedication, and a shared vision for comprehensive education.

The workshops concluded on a promising note, with participants geared up to implement the principles imbibed during these sessions in their educational environments. This initiative stands as a testament to the collective effort towards fostering empathetic, ethical, and emotionally intelligent individuals within the educational landscape of Leh.
