DC Suse chairs DMC meeting to review progress under Swadesh Darshan 2.0

Kargil, Dec 04: Chairman Destination Management Committee/Deputy Commissioner Kargil Shrikant Suse Monday chaired a meeting to review the status and implementation of projects under Swadesh Darshan 2.0.
During the meeting the DC Kargil was informed about the status of implementation of program and this regard a detailed presentation was given with respect to status of projects being proposed under Swadesh Darshan 2.0.
DC directed concerned to implement projects on fast track basis and sought regular updates on progress.
He directed tourism department to work on projects for beautification of Kargil town which can proposed under Swadesh Darshan 2.0.
He also directed that under the scheme, destination promotion, branding and marketing as well as human resource development must be prioritised.
Councillor Kargil Town and Baroo- Minji also suggested various ideas for tourism infrastructure development and promotion which can be further explored to devise projects for town under the scheme.
The meeting was attended by Councilor Kargil Town Haji Mohammad Abbas, Councilor Baroo-Minji Advocate Khadim Hussain, Chief Planning Officer, Executive Officer MC, DSP Headquarter, Assistant Director Tourism, Superintendent Industrial Training Institute Kargil, Hasnain Ali and Fayaz Ahmed from All Kargil Travel Trade Association besides concerned officers.
