Leh, Dec 03: Imamiya Mission Educational and Social Welfare Society (IMESWS) successfully hosted the 31st National Children Science Congress (NCSC) State Level at Abduz Hotel here.
A total of 14 students from various schools of Leh and Kargil, who had successfully passed the District level earlier, presented their insightful research projects in the state level.
A distinguished panel of judges, comprising of Dr. Pooja Devi, Principal Scientist, CSIO CSIR from Chandigarh, Dr. Paramjeet Singh, Sr Lecture Physics, State and CBSE National Awardee from Chandigarh and Dr. Pawan Sr Lecturer Chemistry from Haryana were virtually connected. They diligently assessed the projects and provided guidance to the participants on the further steps. Mr Ajay Limal Principal JNV Budgam was the main observer in the event.
The meeting was also virtually attended by Mr. Syed Naqishah Razvi, Chairman of Imamiya Mission Educational and Social Welfare Society, Mr. Zaygoo from Jammu and Kashmir student welfare association and Mrs Azra Razvi Principal Imamiya Mission School.
Miss Kousar Razvi, program coordinator extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to the esteemed jury member, participants, and the audience. Certificates were distributed to the participants and guide teachers in the end of the program.
The National Children Science Congress, a flagship program of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, continues to play a pivotal role in promoting scientific curiosity and innovation among the youth. Imamiya Mission Educational and Social Welfare Society is the nodal organisation for this program in UT Ladakh and committed to promote the spirit of inquiry and research acumen among the youngsters of the region.
