Leh, Dec 03: On the night of December 1, a joint naka checking operation was conducted by the Police Station Leh and Police Post, Housing Colony in the Skalzangling area and Petrol Pump Chowk. The primary focus of this operation was to address the issue of drunken driving ensuring the safety of all road users.
During the operation, a total of 27 vehicles were subjected to thorough scrutiny. Disturbingly, four drivers were discovered operating their vehicles under the influence of alcohol. Swift and decisive action was taken against the offenders.
The District Police Leh is committed to ensuring road safety and protecting citizens from the dangers posed by drunken driving. This joint naka checking initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enforce traffic regulations and promote responsible driving habits.
