New Delhi, Oct 25: Ven Bhikkhu Sanghasena, Founder and President, Mahabodhi International Meditation Center, Leh today addressed an interfaith gathering at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the presence of President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. It was organized by Brahma Kumaris organization on the theme “Sabka Malik Ek”.
Addressing the gathering, Bhikkhu Sanghasena expressed thanks to the President of India for agreeing to visit to grace UT Ladakh Foundation Day on 31 October. He extended the invitation to Her Excellency to visit the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre during her visit to Ladakh.
Bhikkhu Sanghasena expressed that the world was passing through a difficult time as the on-going war between Ukraine and Russia and now Palestinians and Israel could assume dangerous proportions. He strongly urged the spiritual leaders and peace loving people to stand up and unite to work for world peace.
He further said “The greatest wealth and strength of India is the ancient wisdom of Ahimsa, Karuna, Maitri, Yoga, Meditation, and all the spiritual leaders of India should prepare themselves to share with the entire world in order to bring peace and harmony.
