Leh, Oct 13: Selected Cadets from the NCC Naval wing embarked on an exciting journey from Jammu. They are headed to the prestigious All India Nau Sainik Camp 2023, set to take place from October 14 to October 24 at INS Shivaji, Lonavala, Maharashtra.
These dedicated cadets have tirelessly trained for the past 60 days under the guidance of the 1 J&K Naval Unit NCC, a part of NCC Group Srinagar. The preparation has been intense and focused, preparing them for the rigorous challenges ahead.
On October 11, the cadets received a visit from Major General RK Sachdeva, ADG NCC Directorate Jammu & Kashmir. His presence and motivational words added to the cadets’ enthusiasm during their final training phase at the NCC Training Academy in Nagrota. Over a cup of tea, he shared invaluable tips for excelling in the upcoming competitions.
The ADG praised the cadets for their remarkable dedication and hard work. The contingent is set to participate in various competitions during the All India Nau Sainik Camp, including Drill, boat pulling, ship modeling, service subjects, seamanship, and semaphore. With their sustained effort and unwavering dedication, the cadets are confident about their prospects for a stellar performance.
The journey to INA Shivaji, Lonavala, marks a significant milestone for these young cadets, showcasing their determination to excel in the world of NCC Naval activities. The NCC Naval wing and the entire NCC fraternity of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh stands united in supporting their quest for excellence.
