Leh, Oct 12: A “Kalash Yatra” under “Meri Mitti Mera Desh” campaign was held by District Administration Leh in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Leh and 16th, 5th & 24th Battalions of ITBP at Govt Higher Secondary School, Sakti in Kharu Block here.
The chief guest of the programme was Anil Kumar Jha, Assistant Commandant, SHQ ITBP Leh. Rigzin Namgyal, Principal GHSS Sakti; Sh. Norboo, VEC Sakti, Nehru Yuva Kendra staff and volunteers, all the villagers and students of Kharu block participated in this programme. On the occasion, a cultural programme was also presented by the students and members of the youth clubs.
