Srinagar, Sept 27:
At least eight labourers were injured on Wednesday when an explosion occurred in the cement mix settling vibration machine in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district, police said.
They also ruled out any terror angle.
Police said an explosion occurred in the cement mix settling vibration machine, adjacent to portable generator, and tin can of oil being carried by labourers in a load carrier at Larkipora Anantnag.
Eight labourers were injured, with burn injuries being treated at the hospital. However, all are stable, the police added.
“No terrorist angle was observed”, police said in a post on X.
They said an investigation has started.
All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
