Leh, Sept 26: To enhance the well-being of students in the Leh district, Deputy Commissioner and District Chairman of the Health Society, Santosh Sukhadeve chaired a meeting today to evaluate the School Health and Wellness Program under the Rashtriya Kishore SwasthyaKaryakram (RKSK).
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve underscored the pivotal role that education plays in the lives of students and emphasized the importance of addressing students’ mental health concerns.
DC Leh directed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Leh to take proactive measures to organize a diverse range of extracurricular activities within schools.
To maximize the benefits of the RKSK scheme, DC Leh called upon health officials to ensure that citizens receive the best healthcare available. He stressed that accessible healthcare services are vital for the well-being of the entire community, particularly those residing in remote areas.
