Leh, Sept 25: Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Leh, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, organized the impactful “Meri Mitti Mera Desh” program at Housing Colony Community Hall.
In this programme, Rigzin Yangjor, Namberder, Housing Colony, was the chief guest. Other dignitaries included officers from ITBP 16 Bn, Sarpanch and NYK volunteers. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers, NYV volunteers and ITBP 16Bn.
During the event, Ms Tajamul Ara, Deputy Director NYK Leh, shared the importance of the “Meri Mitti Mera Desh Program”. On the occasion, Soil Collection was held. Thereafter, a rally was taken out from Community Hall to Col. Chhewng Rinchen MVC, SM Memorial Park. At memorial park, all the participants took pledge on Mera Mitti Mera Desh.
