ICDS Project Kargil organises training program on Poshan Tracker

Kargil, Sept 16: Training on Poshan Tracker Application was conducted at Syed Mehdi Memorial Auditorium Hall Kargil Saturday.
The training aimed to further empower the local Anganwadi workers with hands-on training.
Poshan Tracker Application has covered five projects, making a significant impact in enhancing the delivery of vital nutrition services to vulnerable communities.
During the occasion, DPO ICDS Kargil Nargis Banoo, CDPO, Project Kargil Parveen Akhtar
Supervisors and AWWs of ICDS Project Kargil attended the training.
Ankush Sharma, State Nodal Officer Poshan Tracker conducted the training. Anganwadi workers were imparted the functionalities of the Poshan Tracker Application, enabling them to efficiently monitor and record crucial data related to the nutritional status of beneficiaries.
They were also taught modules of the application, including data entry, monitoring, and reporting functionalities. The session also provided an opportunity for the workers to clarify any doubts and concerns, ensuring their complete understanding of the application’s potential.
Ankush emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to tackle malnutrition effectively and praised the Poshan Tracker Application for its role in this mission.
Poshan Tracker Application is a mobile-based platform designed to improve the nutrition outcomes among children and women in India. By digitizing data collection and monitoring processes, the application enables real-time tracking, timely interventions, and improved outcomes.
The initiative aims to support the Government of India’s National Nutrition Mission, focused on reducing malnutrition and improving the overall health of the country’s population.
