Leh, Sep 10: A delegation from the United Works Corporation, Rachna Film, Indore, Madhya Pradesh comprising its members Manoj Thakkar, Ravi Mittal and Jayest Rajpal called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) at Raj Niwas. Thakkar apprised the HLG of the book he had written on various philosophical and spiritual subjects and presented them to the HLG.
Rajpal apprised HLG that Divine Blessing Studios, a team of independent filmmakers from Indore under United Works Corporation Group. He informed HLG about the opening of a Film Studio in Leh with the aim of promoting employment, skill development and promoting tourism in the region and submitted a proposal in this regard. The HLG assured them that he would examine the proposal.
Shri Sarang Gosavi, President Aseem Foundation, Pune called on the HLG at Raj Niwas. Shri Gosavi apprised the HLG about his organization’s contribution to the IT sector in Chuchot, Leh to train the local youths in IT related skills. He requested HLG to enhance the IT sector in Ladakh. The HLG asked Shri Gosavi to submit a proposal in this regard.
