Leh, Sept 04: Member, National Commission for Minorities, Govt of India, Rinchen Lhamo visited several monasteries including Takthok, Chemday, Hemis, Stakna, and Thiksay on September 4.
The primary objective of this visit was to engage with the local communities and monks, understanding their day-to-day challenges and concerns related to the functioning of these monasteries.
She listened to the grievances and assured to take necessary actions to address their concerns at the earliest.
