LEH: Jigmat Chosgail from Hemya village in Leh district has been conferred Gold Medal in MA Buddhist Studies during the ‘Special convocation 2023’ by held at University of Jammu on Thursday.
Vice President, Jagdeep Dhankar, who was the chief guest at the convocation ceremony awarded him the Gold Medal.
Lieutenant Governor Jammu & Kashmir and Chancellor of Jammu University, Manoj Sinha presided over the event.
Jigmat Chosgail has completed his Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies in University of Jammu in 2016. Furthermore, he has also submitted his doctoral thesis to the University of Jammu recently.
