Leh: Chief Engineer (Project Vijayak) Brigadier Vinay Bahl of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) met Chairman and CEC of LAHDC Leh Tashi Gyalson and apprised him of the issues hampering several projects.
The officer briefed the CEC on the status of various projects in Leh District under Project Vijayak of the BRO and he also updated on the progress of the upgradation and widening works on Khaltse-Batalik road.
The Chief Engineer also updated the progress of infrastructure development projects by different construction units of the Border Roads Organization.
Chief Engineer (Project Vijayak) Brigadier Vinay Bahl, raised several issues such as delay in land acquisition and release of funds which were hampering projects.
The CEC also directed Chief Engineer (Project Vijayak) for early completion of this road and ensure good quality of works happening on the roads.
